Pregnancy and postnatal massage

Carrying a baby puts stress on your back, neck, shoulders and abdomen. It also relaxes your ligaments and changes your posture. Pregnancy massage can provide physical relief as well as relaxation and reassurance.

Even when your baby is born, it can take up to a year for your body to return to its new ‘normal’. Postnatal massage gives you the chance to reconnect with your body and maintain a sense of wellbeing.

Every woman’s experience of pregnancy and motherhood is unique. I tailor each massage to suit your needs, provide emotional support on your mothering journey and empower you to listen to your own inner wisdom which will strengthen you to make the choices right for you. As soon as you are pregnant, you are parents and the decision making journey begins. It can feel overwhelming and scary. Trusting in your inner wisdom – sometimes called a “gut feeling” (a term being more understood these days as our gut is now understood to be our second brain)

Following the birth of my two now teenagers, I was inspired to train in Pregnancy Massage which then developed with further trainings as a Doula with Amanda Rayment , CPD courses, meetings and workshops with Michel Odent and Liliana Lammers, David Chamberlain , Tamara Donn , Matthew Appleton and Suzanne Yates among others.

I am deeply grateful for the experiences I have received from these amazing frontiers in the birthing world and love to share the knowledge I have gained with any woman on her mothering journey.
